The Excellence of Campania in Stockholm
The Excellence of Campania in Stockholm event is dedicated to buyers, industry, restaurateurs, importers, press and opinion leaders. It will showcase the very best in wine, liqueurs, pasta, buffalo mozzarella, dried fruits, tomatoes, preserves, sweets and coffee. The event is promoted by the Directorate General for Economic Development and Production Activities of the Campania Region (Italy), under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Stockholm and with the collaboration of the Italian Trade Promotion Agency (ICE, Istituto per il Commercio Estero). The event will feature B2B meetings, free tastings and many informative activities.
Meeting the exhibitors from Campania will enable you to experience true excellence in the agri-food sector: unlike modern food products, excellence has a millennial tradition behind it, and its unique flavour can awaken a consumer’s sense of taste. Many of its products have been awarded EU protected quality denominations: DOP, Denominazione di Origine Protetta – (PDO, Protected Designation of Origin); DOCG Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita; IGP Indicazione di Origine Protetta (PGI, Protected Geographical Indication); IGT Indicazione di Origine Tipica; SGT Specialità Tradizionale Garantita (TSG, Traditional Speciality Guaranteed).
Campania typically produces excellence and quality products, as well as having a long-standing export tradition. Enhancing the ‘Made in Campania’ brand is thus a key component of the regional strategy, and the focus of specialised resources and activities.
